Transnational Partnerships PROJECT LIFE Local Inclusion for Everyone The LIFE project has the objective of identifying effective means for working towards integration of the unemployed and towards the establishment of local networks. It has been created four Partnerships: Italy, Bologna: Trailer: trame di sviluppo territoriale Belgium, Antwerp: Labourforneighbour Holland, Breda: Samissie Poland, Warsaw, Nowy Lisków Common problems to all Partnerships are the following Aims of Transnational Partnerships: Facilitating employment of persons at risk of exclusion from the labour market of the jobless and of persons facing particularly difficult circumstances; Contributing to the development of different areas through job creation and services for the population; Encouragement of liaising between the public sector on the one hand and the social and private sectors on the other as regards local activities, negotiations, etc.
Description of activities: 1. Exchange of information and experiences. Partnerships exchange information about their different experiences, their national economy (in relation to the territories involved), entrepreneurship, social and working insertion of disadvantaged groups.
2. Parallel development of innovative approaches. This is the real focus of the transnational project. Partnerships have identified two main actions aimed at the parallel creation of innovative approaches to the support and development of entrepreneurial jobs in the social economy sector, and methods of inclusion and of territorial networking and programming. Best practices and models could be transferred and adopted by Partners.
3. Import, export or adoption of new approaches is connected with transfering of working approaches that can contribute to facing a specific problem. The bilateral exchanges between Trailer and Nowy Lisków will give following added value in the sphere of import, export or adoption of new approaches: the Polish Partnership is going to transfer the Italian solutions (recognized European patterns) on the Polish conditions and to use Italian best practices.
4. Joint development. The starting point of the Transnational Partnership is a common problem, that could have different answers through tools developed by the partnership. Some reports will be realized by the Transnational partnership in order to disseminate best practices developed in the course of the project.
5. Exchange of trainers/trainees/staff. This is the basis of the transnational project. The previous experiences show the effectiveness of creating direct contacts among people, of contributing to their personal and professional growth by getting to know directly other people s experiences and projects. All Partnerships will organize a meeting, to which members of Transnational Partnership will take part. Exchanges will also be performed through bilateral agreements of two Partnerships.
